About every 9 weeks the mission president will change the missionaries around in Sweden. They have new missionaries coming in from the MTC in Provo Utah and missionaries leaving for home. Our center is a gathering spot for the missionaries to meet up with their new companions. Well it was a cold snowy day. We get a call from the Malmo missionaries and they were in a huge hurry to get on the train in Lund. Several suitcases have already been left at the center so they asked us if we could get the suitcases down to the street. So we did and waited by the suitcases until the Missionaries arrived. When they arrived with their own luggage they realized they needed help and the train was to leave in 5 minutes. So we told them we would grab a couple of suitcases and RUN with them to the train station. It was a real miracle that we all made it to the train station and the 3 missionaries were able to get on the train. We waved goodbye to them as the train took off.
Then Elder Winegar said “Oh no” Well in the hurry of things he had one of the Elders backpack on his back! He had to do some fast thinking so he called the Elder and told him he had his backpack and would be sending another Elder to deliver it to him. So he called and got a train ticket and away another Elder went to deliver the back pack. They had to wait at our center till he got back which would be many hours later. But we kept them fed and entertained during their wait!!
