  Simrishamn, Sweden

We had a day off and train tickets so we decided to go to the end of this trains line. It would be to Simrishamn. It was freezing cold. It is a seaport on the south eastern tip of Sweden, on the Baltic Sea.

This was a view out the train window.  How would you like to live at this farmhouse?

This is the train we rode to Simrishamn. Neal by the sign.

You can see the waves break over the “wave break wall” the sea was very choppy. It was windy and so cold.

 

Here is the harbor and me on the cute street with colorful houses. The wind was really blowing and it was sooooo cold.

This is the train station in Simrishamn. It was about a 5 minute walk to the harbor. We could only be there no more than 30 minutes or we would miss our train to Estad. It was worth the time we spent and we are glad that we decided to go to the end of the line.

We then got back on the train and went to Ystad.

There were about 4 hunters with their rifles and also with their hunting dogs.

I saw a white rabbit right before we came to the hunters. So maybe they were hunting rabbits!! (I hope the rabbits all got away!!)





Neal was also freezing!! Burrrr
